Bluechip Olympic Day 2025: Building Bonds Beyond the Office

On Friday, August 8th, 2024, Bluechip Technologies held its much-anticipated Annual Team Bonding Exercise across our regional offices in Nigeria, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Known fondly among Bluebloods as Olympic Day, the event is designed to take collaboration beyond screens, providing employees with an opportunity to connect in person, share laughter, and strengthen relationships outside the workplace.

A Day of Energy, Team Spirit, and Fun

From thrilling football matches and competitive basketball games to table tennis rallies, sack races, 100m sprints, and the crowd-favorite fill-the-bottle challenge, this year’s Olympic Day was packed with activities that tested not just athletic skills but also teamwork and camaraderie.

The atmosphere was electric—filled with cheers, friendly banter, and the unmistakable Blueblood spirit.

Celebrating Our Champions

As with every great competition, the day ended with champions rising to the top across regions:

  • Nigeria 🏆
    🥇 Team Alpha
    🥈 Team Beta
    🥉 Team Gamma
  • Kenya 🏆
    🥇 Team Kasongo
    🥈 Team Watam
  • DRC 🏆
    🥇 Team Lota
    🥈 Team Alpha

Beyond the medals and bragging rights, what mattered most was the bonding experience that brought colleagues together across countries.
