As part of our continued growth, we are seeking highly skilled Project Execution Engineers to lead the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects from initiation through completion. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong technical depth, project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure that deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and implementation of IT infrastructure projects — including networks, servers, virtualization, storage, and data center systems — in a high-availability, ITIL-governed environment.
  • Develop, track, and maintain detailed project execution schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project plans and business objectives.
  • Supervise the project execution team, ensuring that assigned tasks and milestones are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities between engineering, operations, and vendor teams to drive smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, drawings, and handover reports for transition to operations.
  • Oversee resource allocation, workload balancing, and performance monitoring of technical teams during project delivery.
  • Manage and track project financials, ensuring all execution activities remain within approved budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating critical items promptly to management.
  • Conduct regular project review sessions to assess progress, performance metrics, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure change control processes are followed, including the management of project scope, schedules, and resource adjustments.
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, and collaborate on incident and problem reviews affecting ongoing projects.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project execution methodologies and delivery processes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective communication across all project phases.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical and operational challenges during implementation.
  • Ensure project outcomes are measurable, sustainable, and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ relevant post-NYSC experience executing technology or telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, project governance, and infrastructure delivery lifecycles.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and vendors in large-scale project environments.
  • Solid knowledge of project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar).
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and resource management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
