As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and versatile Technical Pre-sales Engineer to join our Ghana team.

Job Objectives:
 Drive solution design and technical engagement across BCT’s portfolio of offerings, supporting the commercial team in identifying, developing, and closing enterprise opportunities in the new region.
 Act as the technical backbone for client engagements, enabling trusted advisory, solution customization, and high-impact proposal development tailored to local market dynamics.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:
Client Technical Engagement:
• Engage directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements across data, infrastructure, cloud, and analytics domains.
• Build trusted advisory relationships through technical storytelling and tailored recommendations.

Solution Design & Architecture:
• Craft tailored solution architectures using BCT’s core OEM partnerships (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Lenovo), ensuring alignment with client goals.
• Design solutions for IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking), enterprise data platforms, cloud computing, and analytics.

Proposal & Bid Support:
• Lead the creation of technical documentation, solution write-ups, BOMs, SOWs, and responses to RFPs/RFIs in collaboration with the Sales team and OEMs.
• Ensure proposals are competitive, technically sound, and aligned with client needs.

Demonstrations & POCs:
• Deliver demos, workshops, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) implementations to showcase technical feasibility and business value.
• Customize demonstrations to address specific client pain points and requirements.

Collaboration with OEM Partners:
• Interface with BCT’s OEM partners to align technical solutions, gather competitive insights, and leverage co-selling motions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OEM product roadmaps and innovations.

Enablement & Evangelism:
• Support technical enablement sessions, webinars, and client workshops to promote BCT’s capabilities and industry best practices.
• Educate internal teams and clients on emerging technologies and solutions.

Regional Strategy Execution:
• Provide hands-on support to build technical presence in the new region—including identifying local infrastructure needs, market trends, and client pain points.
• Contribute to regional growth strategies and market penetration efforts.

Presales Transition & Support:
• Ensure seamless transition of closed deals to delivery teams, maintaining continuity and clarity across technical documentation.
• Provide post-sales support as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

Knowledge, Competencies
Knowledge
 IT Infrastructure: Servers, storage, networking, VMware, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
 Enterprise Data Platforms: Oracle (DB, Exadata, Cloud, Analytics), Microsoft Azure & Power Platform, SAP BusinessObjects / BW.
 Cloud Computing: Public, private, and hybrid cloud architectures.
 Data Management & Analytics: Data warehousing, business intelligence, integration.
 Proposal Development: RFP/RFI processes, technical documentation, BOMs, SOWs.


Skills
 Strong architectural design and solutioning capability.
 Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
 Technical documentation and proposal development expertise.
 Ability to interpret business needs into scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions.
 Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, and collaboration platforms.

Education
Qualification/ Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Professional Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
o Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
o Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
o VMware VCP
o Dell/HP/Huawei/Lenovo Data Center Technical Specialist
o GCP Certifications


Minimum Experience:
• 4–8 years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise RFP processes and proposal development.
Preferred Experience:
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Microsoft, Dell, HP, IBM, VMware, Cisco, SAP etc technologies.
• Exposure to regional market dynamics and client engagement in the region and beyond.
